We encourage you\r\n\t\t\tto register to make a difference, as an organ and tissue donor you can play a vital role in saving lives and improving the quality of life for those in need.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t<hr \/>\r\n\t\t<h4>How can I register as a donor?<\/h4>\r\n\t\t<p>You can register through the \u201cHayat\u201d organ donation program in two ways:<\/p>\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li>Their website on <a href=\"https:\/\/mohap.gov.ae\/en\/services\/social\/organ-donation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/mohap.gov.ae\/en\/services\/social\/organ-donation<\/a><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>By downloading the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) mobile application from the iOS store or Google Play store<\/li>\r\n\t\t<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<hr \/>\r\n\t\t<h4>Who can become a donor in the UAE?<\/h4>\r\n\t\t<p>Any resident in the UAE over the age of 21 can donate organs. Younger suitable donors will need the consent of family members in case of death.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t\t<p>\r\n\t\t\tDonation by living donors is restricted to relatives within the fourth degree and couples married for at least two years. While brain-dead donors&#8217; organs are\r\n\t\t\ttransplanted to people that suffer from organ failure.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t\t<p>Alive donors are legally permitted to back out at any time before the organ is officially removed from their body.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<hr \/>\r\n\t\t<h4>Which organs can be donated?<\/h4>\r\n\t\t<p>In the UAE, the organs that can be donated to save lives are: the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs and pancreas.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<hr \/>\r\n\t\t<h4>What does religion say about donation?<\/h4>\r\n\t\t<p>The gift of organ donation is supported and encouraged among many religions.
